How a maskSAFE Mask Case Works
Most people don’t wash their hands three times an hour, because no one carries around that much hand moisturizer. Why do we mention three times an hour? A study conducted in Washington D.C. and in Brazil showed that people in public places touched common surfaces three times each hour, and they also touched their faces three times an hour.
No Touching
Face-touching is one of the top items on the coronavirus naughty list. That’s why the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization both recommend that the public wear masks, along with frequent hand-washing and social distancing.
So you have a mask to keep you safe, but what about mask safety? How do you keep the mask protected? How do you keep it clean? How do you lengthen its life, maybe saving a little money and throwing one less item in a landfill?
The maskSAFE Solution
That’s where maskSAFE comes in. It’s the sleekest and (dare-we-say?) the prettiest face mask box you can find. Using it is simple. We gave it to a few small children and they were able to figure it out entirely by intuition. And that’s so important to us, because we think this is a perfect tool for schools!
But there are a lot of us who are in between stages in life. We’re not a little kid who can magically solve a Rubik’s cube in under two minutes. And we’re not a great-grandma who needs the VCR to stop blinking 12:00 at all hours of the day. So, for those of us who need a little help, here’s how the maskSAFE works.
Your Face Mask Case Awaits
After you place your order, either your maskSAFE or maskSAFE Pocket will arrive at your door as fast as can be! It’s clean and secure and individually wrapped, though in this picture we already took the packaging off our maskSAFE ALEX, with its beautiful marbled design.
It’s a Snap
The snaps are easy to open and shut – we’re moms and we want to make sure there aren’t any obstacles to our kids or our customers actually using the maskSAFE. We don’t want it to be like the exercise equipment gathering dust, or acting as a clothes hanger, in the secret room that you never show houseguests.
People Are Lining Up!
So the snaps are open, and you can see there are side flaps that complete the enclosure, matching the color of the case’s exterior. And then there’s the easy-to-clean liner. This lined layer inside the maskSAFE is where your mask will rest when you’re not using it.
In order to give yourself maximum protection from cross contamination, you’ll want to sanitize the liner regularly. Think about it: the mask is a barrier between your nose and mouth and the contaminants of the outside world. The mask gets dirty, and if you’re just transferring that dirt into the maskSAFE without cleaning it, then you’re not taking full advantage of the benefits of a face mask case.
Closing Statements
Once you’ve placed your mask inside the inner lining, you fold it back up again, snap the flaps shut, and your mask is contained and protected while you go about your business. The maskSAFE can hold almost all standard face masks. This maskSAFE ALEX easily snapped back together, even when holding a mask that has a flexible metal wire around the nose.
Mask Safety Matters
We built maskSAFE to answer the questions that we faced every day. Where is my child’s mask? Is their mask clean? Do they have a place to keep a backup mask after they work up a sweat at school? How do I store and carry my mask in a way that communicates my values as a forward-thinking organized professional who puts everything in its right place?
maskSAFE is easy to use because it had to be, and we know that it’ll make your life simpler, cleaner, and more organized. Check out our collection of full sized and pocket-sized face mask cases now. We’re so proud of the elegance of our designs, after all, nothing is more personal than our own individual health. Stay safe out there, and stylish too!
